• Message content: We never read, store, or log your messages

• User data: No profiles, preferences, or activity tracking
• DM content: Private messages are never accessed or stored
• Browsing data: No cookies, trackers, or analytics on you

What We DO Collect

We only store the absolute minimum data required for the bot to function:

• Server ID: To identify which Discord server settings belong to
• Channel IDs: For features like ticket channels, mod logs, or music channels
• Role IDs: For permission management and admin roles
• Bot settings: Configuration you set via /config (feature toggles, warning thresholds, etc.)
• Temporary data: Active giveaways, open tickets, music queues (deleted when no longer needed)

Why We Collect This Data

This configuration data is stored solely to:

• Operate the bot's features correctly in your server
• Remember your settings between bot restarts
• Provide customized functionality per server

How We Store Your Data

• Secure storage: All data is stored securely and encrypted
• No sharing: Data is never shared with third parties
• Minimal retention: Data is kept only as long as necessary for bot functionality
• Server-specific: Each server's data is isolated and separate

Third-Party Services

SynorkBot integrates with the following external services:

• Discord API: Required for all bot functionality
• VirusTotal: Optional file scanning (only if enabled by server admins)
• Music sources: YouTube, SoundCloud APIs for music playback

These services have their own privacy policies. We do not control or store data sent to these services.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data: Request a copy of your server's configuration
• Delete your data: Request deletion of all stored configuration
• Remove the bot: Kick the bot from your server to stop all data collection

Data Deletion

When you remove SynorkBot from your server, all configuration data for that server is automatically deleted within 30 days. If you want immediate deletion, contact us.

Children's Privacy

SynorkBot complies with Discord's Terms of Service, which require all users to be 13 years or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
